Q: DO YOU HAVE A PREFERRED OR REQUIRED VENDOR LIST?
A: Absolutely not! Aside from an exclusive alcohol vendor, we have an open vendor policy! If you want your favorite dive to caterer your event, or your best friend from college to photograph your wedding, we welcome them to the Gin!
Q: CAN WE HAVE ALCOHOL AT OUR EVENT? WHAT ARE YOUR REQUIREMENTS?
A: Yes! We too enjoy a cold brew with a good party! We do require you use our exclusive vendor for any alcohol that is consumed or served on the property. The vendor provides the alcohol, TABC licensed bartenders, and security for your event. Any additional questions you have regarding alcohol can be discussed with the vendor. Contact us for further details.
Q: HOW MANY FRIENDS CAN WE INVITE TO OUR EVENT?
A: For a ceremony in the Gin, we can sit 400 guests. For a dinner reception, we can hold approximately 300 guests. For a dinner reception in the Seed barn, we can seat 300 guests indoors.
Q: CAN WE HAVE ACCESS TO THE VENUE THE DAY BEFORE TO DECORATE & SET UP?
A: Brides, Event Planners, Friends & Family, if you are concerned about not having enough time to set up & decorate for your event, we highly recommend you purchasing the "Day Before" add-on. This guarantees you will have plenty of time to decorate and can enjoy your wedding day, stress free!
Q: WILL YOU BE WORKING & ON·SITE DURING OUR EVENT? WHAT WILL YOU DO?
A: Of Course we will! We will be present at all times on your event date, without question. We are working with all of your vendors to ensure they can provide top-notch service at our facility, as well as provide parking attendants, entry & exit attendants, bussing tables, lighting candles… we’re here to make sure all of the little details of your event are taken care of! (Event the details everyone forgot about.. We’ve got your back.)
Q: WHAT OTHER REQUIREMENTS MUST WE FULFILL IN ORDER TO HAVE AN EVENT AT THE GIN?
A: We require you attain an Event Insurance Policy through a third party site. If you're serving alcohol, the policy must contain a liquor liability ... Don't worry - we have instructions on how to complete this.
Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR EVENT DATE?
